K-12 School Programs Collections being held at the Maquoketa Art Experience October 20-Oct 24th. This has been available to the area for the last 3 years and has been a wonderful learning experience for students kindergarten through 12th grades. These programs are offered at no cost. IMA Docents and instructors lead interactive presentations of original works of art from around the globe. With funding from the University of Iowa Museum of Art Education Partners, the UIMA education department purchased these works of art for use in K-12 programing.
The UIMA currently offers six collections.

Students are able to closely examine and handle many of the artworks. A presentation usually lasts 50 minutes.
The public is also invited to attend this educational experience
