2-Day Landscape Oil Painting Workshop - For Beginners and Intermediate Artists
Dates: Saturday, March 22, 9 AM - 4 PM and Sunday, March 23, 10 AM - 3 PM
Join Naser D. Shahrivar, a self-taught artist and experienced instructor, for an inspiring weekend of painting.
In this workshop, you will:
* Learn about different paints, surfaces, and brushes.
* Discover the importance of lighting, varnishes, and frames.
* Overcome your fears by painting what you see.
* Master color mixing on a palette.
* Understand the connection between drawing and painting.

Limited to ten students. Naser has offered to provide the supplies needed for the workshop. MAE will provide the canvasses. You are welcome to bring your own supplies. Naser will discuss recommended supplies during the workshop. You will complete one painting each day with pre-sketched canvases. There will be a 30-minute lunch break each day. Bringing your own lunch and snacks is recommended.
