Brass Revived is a Chicago-based brass quintet formed at Northwestern University. The ensemble—Sophie Urban, Paul Stancampiano, Erin Harrigan, Ellie Abbott, and Chrisjovan Masso—brings together five graduate brass instrumentalists currently pursuing Master of Music degrees in music performance.
Three members of the quintet perform with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the prestigious pre-professional training orchestra affiliated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Individually, the musicians have appeared in leading orchestras and festivals across the United States, as well as in Europe.
United by a shared commitment to artistry and connection, Brass Revived blends technical excellence with engaging programming. Their performances feature a vibrant mix of traditional brass quintet repertoire alongside familiar favorites, creating concerts that are both refined and inviting for audiences of all backgrounds.
