Wreaths Representing the States of the U.S.A. | Doris Hazer
October 1 - November 30
Maquoketan Doris Hazer will have many of her wreaths on display during the months of October and November 2024. Stop in to see them in the South Alcove at Maquoketa Art Experience.
There will also be an Artists Reception on Sunday, October 6th from 2 to 4 pm so you can visit with Doris, as well as students from Maquoketa Community School District who will have their artwork on display, and members of the Quad City Art Figures Group who will have their unique doll creations on exhibit.
Doris has loved making wreaths and home decor for years. She has made them for herself and also had a home business. In the past few years, Doris has focused on making wreaths. She has a knack for seeing items in stores and other places and can envision incorporating them into a wreath. Doris drew her inspiration for this exhibition from a book of wreaths representing the 50 states.
Maquoketa Art Experience is free and open to the public.
