During this class, children will explore the practices of mindfulness using movement (yoga), literature, positive affirmations (mantras), games and crafts. We will emphasize that mindfulness is a way to keep our “smart brains” healthy and connect them to our kind hearts and this will help calm our bodies. Each child should bring a towel or yoga mat. Renee is a Yoga Alliance certified 95 Hour Kids, Teens and Toddler Yoga instructor as well as a long time elementary educator.
