Dubuque artist Elizabeth Eagle will have her art displayed in the Osterhaus Family Gallery at Maquoketa Art Experience during the months of November and December 2027. Stop in and view her creative and beautiful artwork — the gallery is free and open to the public.

Elizabeth Eagle is a professional artist and art educator living in Dubuque, IA. Elizabeth
received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art in
2006. Elizabeth has taught in the Visual Arts Department at Dubuque Senior High School,
as an adjunct instructor in Painting at Clarke University, and is currently teaching art at
Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
Elizabeth continues to explore ideas and visual imagery that began as a series of paintings
titled Lake House, which developed throughout her graduate studies at the School of Visual
Art, Pennsylvania State University, where she received a Master of Professional Studies in
Art Education in 2017. Elizabeth uses family photographs as a visual and thematic resource
to explore a de/re/construction of personal narrative that continues to develop into a
familial and abstract self-portraiture for the artist.
