Join us for an Artists’ Reception on September 12th, 2026 from 5-7 pm. Artists Forrest Grey and Nolan Smith will be on hand to talk about what inspires their artwork and provides an opportunity to ask them questions and view their exhibit.

Forrest’s and Nolan’s work will be on display during the months of September and October.

Maquoketa Art Experience is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated.

Forrest and Nolan have an affinity for the spooky, celebrating their marriage on Halloween Day.  Both artists are self taught. Nolan will primarily display charcoal and colored pencil pieces. Forrest will focus on oil pastel, graphite, and other materials.
